BNI and the Government of Cabo Delgado encourage entrepreneurs
The Governor of Cabo Delgado encourages businesspeople in the Province to take advantage of the great opportunity offered by BNI through the COVID-19 credit lines with very affordable conditions.
Speaking at the opening of the BNI meeting with the provincial business sector as part of the disclosure of the COVID-19 credit lines, the Governor of Cabo Delgado, Taibo Valgy, thanked BNI for having visited that province to disclose the details of the credit lines, and encouraged the entrepreneurs present to take advantage of the bank’s presence at the highest level, to ask all questions and clarify all doubts, so that they can take greater advantage of this great credit opportunity with very low interest rates. Still in the intervention, the Governor recalled that the Province of Cabo Delgado, needs to be looked at in a very special and particular way taking into account that it has been the victim of other setbacks such as insurgent attacks, Cyclone Kenneth, floods and now COVID-19. He reiterated his support and that of the government to the Province’s entrepreneurs to quickly overcome the various problems that the Province faces.
BNI’s CEO, Tomás Matola, guaranteed that the Bank will do everything to ensure that a significant number of Cabo Delgado projects are approved, provided they show viability and the ability to generate cash flows, and that during the analysis of the processes, the Bank will take into account the vicissitudes and the particular context in which companies in that Province are operating.
The entrepreneurs, in turn, presented several questions that were promptly answered by Tomás Matola.
